Wiki Wiki Wow!

Wow, it's great to learn about wikis and their many uses. My husband would have saved much time creating a wiki for planning one of his major rafting trips back in 1994 (too bad wikis weren't around then...). He was coordinating with fellow rafters, all kayaking/rafting the Colorado River with him, but all from Washington, California, and Arizona. He spent much time on the phone, making lists, detailing who was bringing which supplies. Planning the menu alone was a headache. If there had been one central wiki all the participants could use to post what supplies they had, it would have been a much more fun adventure. Our family is taking a trip to North Carolina in December for a family reunion so perhaps I will suggest to my sister to use a wiki since the phone calls and emails have already begun. Wikis are definitely a terrific technological tool for planning treks around the world with fellow wanderlusters.
